On December 10, in Hanoi, the Goods Import and Export Guide Portal sponsored by the Danish Government, and the Trade Promotion Agency (Ministry of Industry and Trade) organized the construction under the technical assistance of the Center. International Trade (ITC) has officially operated.
This is an online platform, serving in the form of "one-stop" information, providing information related to product import and export procedures, step by step description of import and export procedures from the perspective of Karma.
Specifically, the portal guides and lists in detail relevant documents such as certificates, licenses, certificates, and legal documents that businesses need to include in the documents. At the same time, the portal allows looking up information such as time, costs (fees and charges) to export or import specific goods in Vietnam.
In addition to factors such as time and cost transparency for processes, the Portal provides multi-dimensional support for businesses and regulators to see and understand the processes in an overall picture, Facilitate improvements and facilitate the simplification of procedures.
Currently, the Goods Import and Export Guide has information about 39 product groups (of which 24 groups of exported products and 15 groups of imported products). Most of them are the products shown that account for the largest share of Vietnam's international trade.
At the ceremony, Director of Trade Promotion Department, Mr. Vu Ba Phu affirmed that the Portal has concretize the steps of product import and export, detailed instructions on relevant documents and legal bases, thereby helping businesses solve problems of costs, save time, how to solve problems as well as update information quickly and effectively.
Mr. Phu concluded that, in the unpredictable situation of the Covid-19 epidemic, businesses must both do business and take into account plans to deal with changes in transaction methods, therefore, ITC and the Department Trade promotion is making efforts so that businesses can efficiently produce, trade and export through simple and effective information search tools.
